Students interested in studying at ESEI have the possibility of applying to study under one of three different models.
Full time students
Students study the BA (Hons) in Business Administration programme which consists of three years in Barcelona and the final fourth year at one of the British universities which ESEI collaborates with.
Exchange students
Full time students currently studying Business Administration or other similar programmes at other universities or business schools may transfer to ESEI as exchange students. This entails studying at ESEI for one semester, or one academic year and returning to the university of origin. Normally, the exchange takes place with ESEI’s affiliated universities. However, this is not always the case and students should ensure that the exchange university accepts transfer credits obtained by the student at ESEI. By taking into consideration certain differences in the programmes offered by ESEI and other universities, exchange students have the possibility to choose the subjects that appeal to them most and can design a course complementary to the one they are following at their full time studies university.
Transfer students
Students who wish to slightly change their career paths and join the multinational environment of ESEI are welcome to enter as transfer students.
This possibility is available to students who have already done at least one year of prior studies at a university of a similar profile and who now wish to continue at ESEI. In this case ESEI will consider accepting transfer credits as part of the degree.
Credit transfer
Transfer students should apply for credit transfers after they have been accepted and before of enrolment.
Transferability of courses taken and credits accumulated at other educational institutions will be subject to the following considerations:
- the profile of the institution from which credits would be transferred
- the comparability of the course work with that of ESEI
- the appropriateness of the course work for the student’s degree programme at ESEI
When all the above mentioned factors have been studied, credit equivalencies will then be evaluated and credits awarded.
